  1. Interesting find that poorer households are choosing to go without a landline in preference of a mobile. Perhaps this is because mobile pay as you go tariffs are more managable on a budget. Just as electricity meters which require prepayment are popular with people from poorer households. They can work out a lot more expensive though in terms with service received vs outlay. So that’s the tradeoff.
